Clinging to Life? How to Defibrillate Your Network Marketing Downline

Imagine Hugh Laurie in House, bending over your network marketing downline, defibrillator in hand and making all sorts of snide innuendos about networks and downlines as he jolts everything back to life.

No? Well, you’re right—it doesn’t work that way! But I must say I love the image.

But. Right. Back to business. If your network marketing downline seems to be scattering to the 4 winds and you need to do something to bring your business back to life, I’m here to help. Here are some things you need to think about and do:

  • First, have you stopped tending to the recruitment side of your network marketing business? If you haven’t put up any new content on your website or elsewhere on the Internet in a while, it’s time to get back at it. Without fresh content, your search engine ranking will fall, and fewer people will even have a chance to check you out!
  • Now, how are things with your existing downline? Remember that only a very small fraction of them will stick with the business for an entire year. But are you doing everything you can to help the people who are with you, including learning new techniques and strategies and promoting them to your people? You’re a leader, and it’s up to you to keep the enthusiasm level high!
  • Is it time for a redesign? Remember that videos and website designs that looked good 5 years ago just won’t cut it today. If you want to attract new downline members, you need to stay current with the new fashions so your prospects know that you’re on top of everything.

Now, I realize that an actual defibrillator gives much more instant results than the steps I’ve outlined for you here. But the results for your network marketing downline will be just as lasting as long as you keep it up—your team will be revitalized, enthused, and ready to rock the world!
