It’s Not Just for Cows: Why Branding is Vital for Networking Marketing Success

What is a brand, why do you need one, and what does it have to do with network marketing success?

I’ll tell you—and it really has nothing to do with cows. Nor am I talking about logos like that Nike “swoosh” symbol.

Actually, I’m talking about you. Because that’s what your brand is—it’s your story. It’s the way you present yourself to your prospects. And your success depends on how well you do it.

Let’s talk just a bit more about what a brand is, and how it relates to network marketing. When you’re a network marketer, you’re not selling a product or a business model.

You’re selling yourself. After all, that’s what network marketing is—people networking with other people so that all of them can achieve success!

And basically, a brand is the way you package yourself. What kind of people do you want to attract to your network marketing business? People like yourself—intelligent, passionate, people who really care about other people.

Well, the only way to do that is to be that. But that’s just the first step. Next, you need to let people know about it.

But you don’t just write articles and shoot videos where you tell people what a successful, intelligent, and caring person you are! Who would pay attention to that?

Instead, you show them. You market articles that will help people solve their problems. You offer solutions that will help them feel better about their lives. And you show your network marketing success by living that success right out in the open.

And that, in essence, is your brand. It’s what you are to people and what you do for them. It’s your success that inspires them to reach higher. It’s the things about you that are special, that other people like you can relate to—your military service or your experience as a parent.

Do branding right—become what you want to attract and show—and network marketing success is around the corner.
